About the event

In today's dynamic work environment, understanding and addressing mental health is essential for fostering a healthy and productive workplace. This training, led by Kylie Poor, is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize, address, and support mental health first aid issues in the workplace.


Kylie Poor is a Certified Prevention Specialist with the Southwest Region’s Prevention Resource Center, Community Partnership of the Ozarks. She provides training and technical assistance on the science behind community-based prevention efforts focusing on substance use prevention, suicide prevention, and health promotion. Kylie is a Master of Science in Health Promotion and Wellness Management through Missouri State University, Certified Health Education Specialist through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, and Certified Instructor for Mental Health First Aid.


Participants will learn the following:
